Update an ISM endpoint

If Veracode releases a new endpoint version, or you want to update your endpoint proxy settings or Java home, you can install the update with the endpoint installer.

The Endpoints table shows the endpoint version. From the Version column, you can view the updates included in the latest endpoint versions.

To complete this task:

  1. Download the latest ISM endpoint installer.

  2. Extract the installer file from the ZIP file.

    • On Windows, the filename is veracode_ism_install.bat
    • On Linux, the filename is veracode_ism_install.sh

  3. Run the installer as an administrator. On Linux, you can run sudo -s ./veracode_ism_install.sh

  4. Select Next to update your endpoint to the latest version.

  5. If you want to change your Java home to an upgraded Java version, select the new location, then select Next.

  6. If you want to update your proxy settings, select Manual configuration and enter your proxy details, then select Next.

  7. Select Next on the Endpoint Key page.

  8. Select Install on the Summary page.

  9. After updating the endpoint, select Close.
