Set up the Veracode connector
Complete the following tasks to set up your Veracode Risk Manager (VRM) connector for Veracode.
Ensure Veracode permissions
You must have a Veracode user account with the Reviewer or Security Lead role.
Veracode recommends that you create a user account specifically dedicated to your VRM connector.
Create API credentials
- Sign in to the Veracode Platform.
- From the user account dropdown menu, select API Credentials.
- Select Generate API Credentials.
- Copy the ID and secret key to a secure location.
NOTE: Each Veracode user can only have one active API key, so if this user account already has an active API key, you must use that same API key or override the existing key and create a new one.
Create a VRM connector

In VRM, from the left navigation menu, select the Settings icon

Select Add Connector.

Select the Veracode tile.

Enter a name for the connector.

Paste the API ID and secret key that you copied when you created your API credentials.

Enter the appropriate Veracode API URL for your organization's region:
Region Domain Commercial Region. The default. api.veracode.com
European Region api.veracode.eu
United States Federal Region api.veracode.us

Select Add Connector.
