Using Teams

A team is a group of users who collaborate on a set of applications. The members of a team can see the Veracode Risk Manager (VRM) asset, issue, solution, and finding data associated with those applications.

You can use teams to limit your users' visibility to only the resources that are relevant to them.

Every organization has the following teams:

  • default: the default team defines the default visibility for new VRM user accounts. Your account administrator sets up your organization's default team. New users are automatically added to the default team.
  • root: the root team is created when your organization is created. The root team has access to all applications in the organization. You cannot delete or edit the application scope of the root team.

NOTE: All user accounts created before VRM introduced the team functionality are automatically added to the root team.
