Use the EASM interface
Use the EASM interface to manage scans and monitor their progress. The left navigation sidebar provides access to your dashboard, content, settings, and advanced reports. Notifications keep you informed about scan events in real time.
Left navigation sidebar
The left navigation sidebar in EASM is your primary tool for navigating between the project dashboard, content, settings, and advanced reports. It remains visible while you work with scans.
The sidebar is divided into four main sections:

Project dashboard: view key insights from scans and do timeline-based comparisons. Access it by selecting the Dashboard icon

Content: view test results, compare tests, and download reports. Access it by selecting the Content icon

Settings: manage business units, report templates, workqueue items and scan parameters. Access it by selecting the Settings icon

Advanced: view the job's completion status, duration, and any failure details. Access it by selecting the Advanced icon

Scan notifications
Scan notifications provide real-time in-app notifications when scans reach a terminal state (completed, failed, or cancelled). The notifications icon in the global header displays a badge showing your unread notification count. Notifications are retained for 30 days.
To complete this task:
- Sign in to the Veracode Platform.
- Select Scans and Analysis > EASM.
- Select the Notifications icon
. The notification panel opens and displays notifications in two sections:
- New: unread notifications from your most recent scans
- Earlier: notifications you've already read
- To mark all notifications as read, select Mark all as read at the top of the panel.
- Select a notification. The associated job execution opens, and the notification is automatically marked as read.
