Scanning code from low-code platforms

We don't support scanning application code from low-code platforms. Some low-code platforms, such as OutSystems, can extract application code in supported languages, such as C# or JavaScript. If the extracted code was originally written in a supported language, we might be able to scan it without errors.

Scanning considerations for low-code platforms

  • If your application does not use supported frameworks, we might not be able to fully model the application's data and control flow. This can lead to incomplete or poor-quality results.
  • When packaging application code, the packaged archive might exceed the upload limits for Static Analysis, generate too many modules to scan, or cause scanning errors.
  • Because we report findings in code generated from low-code platforms and not the original "input" code, the results might include findings that you can't take action on or review.

We can't provide technical support if you are scanning code from unsupported platforms.
