Manage optional email notifications

Veracode can send optional email notifications about your Static Analysis policy scans and sandbox scans from Veracode Upload and Scan, and events for your security policies. You can also receive Veracode news.

If you're not receiving notifications because your email addressed is blocked, you can unblock your email address.

Turn off optional notifications

By default, you receive all scan status notifications relevant to your role and team membership, but you don't receive notifications about policy events.

If you have the Administrator role, you can turn off all optional notifications for your organization by default.

To complete this task:

1. Sign in to the Veracode Platform.
2. From the bell menu , select Notification Settings.
3. Select the Your Settings tab.
4. To turn off scan status or scan results notifications for Static Analysis policy scans or sandbox scans, in the Scan Status section, select the Email switch.
5. If you turn on optional notifications for static sandbox scans, from the Notify About menu, select to receive notifications about all sandboxes or only the sandboxes you created.
6. To turn on optional notifications for specific events that impact your policies, in the Policy section, select the Email switch for each event.
7. To configure notifications about Veracode customer news, subscribe to Veracode news notifications.

Unblock your email address

If you're not receiving optional email notifications, your email address might be blocked. If three consecutive attempts to deliver these emails to you fail, Veracode blocklists your email address.

If you want to continue receiving these emails from Veracode, you can remove your address from the blocklist.

To complete this task:

1. Sign in to the Veracode Platform.
2. From the bell menu , select Notification Settings.
3. Select Remove My Email from Blocklist. This button does not appear if your email is not blocklisted. A success message opens confirming that you can now receive emails from Veracode.

Optional email notifications

You can unsubscribe from notifications for specific scan types or events tht impact your policies to stop receiving the emails listed in the following tables.
